Downloaded the trial version, but unable to load any CSV data into application.

Tried to import data in several formats, including text-delimited and tab-delimited, but all formats (including CSV) returned the error message of no data to import despite 3000+ data points in the data file.

Deleted after 2 minutes. Not going to bother/waste time on app that doesn't work.

Thanks for trial version, glad I could see that it doesn't work for me without spending $20!

Works fine for me, and most other users - a 2 minute trial doesn't sound very comprehensive - and what is "text delimited" ??

Does it work for the rest of the world, or just the USA?

I have lots of data for my part of the world [Australia] and so often, mapping software tends to ignore the rest of the non-USA world, as if only the USA matters [not!]

Works fine for the rest of the world - There are a few options (like zip-code geocoding) that are US only, but for plotting lat-long coded data, it should be fine for Australia

I really like this software. It is capable of doing much more than I use it for, but I like the way it's put together and I really like the friendly, helpful responses from the developer.

to OP

If you'd like to try Magic Maps before spending your hard-earned cash on it, you've come to the right place! The Magic Maps Trial is a free download with all the features of the full version (except for printing, saving, and exporting).

Thats on the developer web site.

As for trying this, not all of us have shiny 64bit macs, so is there any reason why a 32bit cannot be provided?

Maybe interesting, but there are no demo version and you are forcing us to purchase via APpStore. Ok, but if I don't like the software for any reason, not efficient enough for my needs, not this not that, I will have to leave 20 bucks anyway ......

It is alway possible to negociate refound with a developer, but via the Apple APpStore it is very difficult!
