WiFi Analyzer is a utility that displays info about your current wireless network, lets you track the state of your connection to that network every second, and save that data to a delimited file.
FYI -- You can get a lot of the same info just by holding down the OPTION key and then clicking on the Airport WifI symbol in the upper right hand corner of the menu bar.
It looks like the main advantage of this program is logging data to a file so you can see how your WiFI connection has changed over time.
Why can't the app locate the SSID, current WAP MAC code and other details needed to make it work. I'd lay a penny to a pound that most ordinary users will just be too embarrassed to ask how to use this app.
Like for instance, suggesting that it is necessary to turn on Airport. then it might be a good idea to set out what each term means and how to use the data. so if I get a signal strength of -61 and a signal noise of -86 which gives a signal to noise ratio of 0.709 at a data rate of 130 - how does the user make sense of that and what does the user do with that information?
