Icons is an incredible time saver that allows you to easily generate various sized icons while offering a brilliant set of features to further enhance your icon's appearance.

Icons was one of the first native Mac Apps for previewing and generating iOS device icons. Since then, Icons has gone through some major updates and a complete new look. Offering more features then any other Icon Preview / Generation software on the App Store. Icons is actively supported and consistently updated with feature requests and bug fixes.

Icons still does everything that it used to do but now you can do so much more. See for more...

What's New

Version 4.3:
  • Fixed the transparent border issue. Icons was exporting icons with a 1 pixel transparent border. This has been fixed.
  • Removed OpenFeint Support.

This app have a horrible interface! It's good that I saw the Lite version and did not spend money on this horror. The functionally it is much more bad than visually.

I tried this app. It's horrible. This is just awful! I have no other words .. Interface is horrible. The application is very difficult to use. It is not worth the money. There are many other good apps such as IconFly and others.

Just downloaded the 3.3 demo from developer's website. Tried to use custom settings and create 512x512 pixels icon from various, but exact 512x512 pixels, images. Each time the demo was telling me that the image I dragged into the app was smaller than 512x512, reminded me to use the size 512x512 and created a tiny icons with the exact sizes as it was telling me my images were. Again, all my test images were exactly 512x512 pixels. Something doesn't add up in this app....

Your images should also be 72 PPI.

If your images are higher, lets say 300 PPI, then your image will get imported as a 72 PPI image and if you take a 512 x 512 image at 300 PPI and reduce the PPI down to 72 it's dimensions will be smaller.
