From iSnip to Stickybrain - all offer interesting ways of organizing text and the clipboard so why does the developer of ScrapIt Pro have to release a 'simple' new app OSX version of an old app of his when ScrapIt is already cocoa and could do it all anyway or if not be enhanced/developed to encompass this new apps toolset ?
Anyway, now that I've finally released v1.0, I can work on the next update for ScrapIt Pro X.

...and that isnip does everything so well and simply - even having a menubar input menu makes it so well thought out and well designed. ScrapIt Pro X is the more unique app and it's a pity it is not more 'cocoa' in it's styling.
On your web site you mention ScrapIt Pro X is cocoa but not EZNote X. When I tested EZnote X, I noticed that it is not made in the familiar (i app) style - no custom toolbar or side opening windows etc... and this is always disappointing. It looks and feels like a carbon app or even a classic OS7/8/9 app.
1) ScrapIt Pro X (SIPX) and EZNote X (EZNX) handle different data and store data in completely different ways (SIPX stores all items in one file, EZNX stored each item as a file on your hard drive).
EZNote X focuses entirely on text, whereas ScrapIt Pro X will allow you to copy and paste most anything (text, images, sounds, movies, etc.). I have had Classic versions of both applications out as shareware for many years. Depending on what a person needs, they will choose one or the other (and yet I certainly have many users registered for both).
2) Thanks for letting me know about the missing Cocoa text on my web page, it's been fixed.
3) I'm really not sure what you mean about EZNote X lacking in the familiar (i app) style, it does have a customizable tool bar, and uses a "Drawer" window (if that's what you mean by "side opening windows") for Get Info.
I really do appreciate hearing comments and questions, it helps me build better applications based on what your needs are.
If you have any further comments/questions, please email me, I'm glad to answer them as I can.
Thank you,
-John

We're very close with EZNote X (I know, it's about time! :-). Here is a screen shot. We hope to release v1.0 within 2 weeks. Thank you for all your suggestions, encouragement and patience! :)
