The Button is the easiest way to access all of your user files, preferences, and recent apps and documents!
To get started, simply click The Button in your Dock to be presented with an automated list of your most recently-opened apps. To the right, you'll see shortcuts to common folders (Documents, Pictures, Music, etc.), as well as shortcuts to All Applications and Recent Documents.
As you use The Button, it will learn which apps you use the most, and adjust its list to keep them displayed, for easy access. If you'd like to keep some of your apps in the list

We highly recommend letting The Button start automatically when you log into your Mac. This will make the app open much more quickly, and will let you use the hotkey setting from any app.
**Note**
Since our app relies heavily upon Apple's Spotlight feature, a corrupt Spotlight database may cause issues with our app (including the app not starting properly or layout errors).
To resolve, please try re-creating your Spotlight index via the following steps:

Once you've completed these steps, please delete the following folder from your system: /Library/Application Support/The Button/
