A week ago I complained to MacUpdate that this developer had surreptitiously rated his own app with 5 stars. He wasn't even savvy enough to know that it would raise red flags to register himself as a new MacUpdate member using his real name (the same as the developer), leaving a 5-star review for his own app (the ONLY review he's ever written) and doing all this on the very same day that he posted WannaAudio on MacUpdate!

I quickly received an email from MacUpdate stating that they would handle it, but they would first remove both my alert post and the developer's old post that got him busted. Now, however, both our posts are still gone, but the dev is still posting new versions of his app here! That's disappointing, but standard for MacUpdate's current lame leadership.
