You can use the Creators field to assign the author and/or the editor.
There are several ways to assign a cover to an item. To assign a cover image to your item.
Select an item.
Drag and drop an image from Finder to the item's preview in the properties inspector, if the properties inspector is not visible, select, View > Show Info.
Select Item > Cover > Assign.
Select (the menu item) Item > Cover > Find, if that does not work Select, Edit > Find Cover, enter some keywords and hit return.

Honestly, use iTunes. Collections is merely iTunes + a "borrowed" feature and it is ABSOLUTELY not worth $30.

Firstly, the app was created to catalog, browse, import and share your music, movies, TV shows and books, so you can keep a digital record of your actual items, retrieves all the information from the internet.
Secondly, this app is not a media player, was not created to list items on your hard disk. The app allows you to create tracks, and if you want you can also assign an URL to those tracks, but (I must be clear on this) the app was not created for this, this functionality is just a bonus.
The library (or content) of iTunes, is loaded by a plug-in (there are three types of plug-ins for now, exporters, importers and libraries), so you can compare the items in Collections agains the iTunes library (for whatever reason you can imagine) and/or to copy items from iTunes. These plug-ins are called "Collections Library", and they can load basically anything, photos, movies, PDF files from folders and/or from other applications, etc (by the way, if someone has any idea for a plug-in please let me know). If you or someone else wants the contents of the folder "Movies" (for example) is shown by the application, a plug-in is the answer, again these functionalities are just an extra bonus.
All the best,
Dante.

It's a nice little piece of software but a little too pricey for me to continue with its growth. :(
The free version of the app works exactly as the pay version, but limited to 50 items.
All the best,
Dante.

You know what?, you're right, I've been delaying the creation of the website for months and I think it's time to create a new one, I'll do my best to have a website as soon as possible.
Can the developer provide an update or advice on getting it to work? Would love to use it. Thanks.
