It's now possible to combine several CSS or JS files into one via the right-click menu.
The screenshot on macupdate is still 1.1.4, visit official site:

What is wrong with the tried and true "minimize?"
minify should be flushed down the toilet with such words as "agendify," "lunchify," and "facebookify."

But wait, what do you mean? Could you translate it into an easy to understand English for none-native English speakers?
Thanks in advance!

You see, it seems that one can hardly go to a professional gathering without hearing new, awkward, clumsy, and unusual neologisms that seem to take the place of perfectly useful and well-known (to the general populace) words.
In this case I would have instinctively used the word "minimize" to refer to the reduction in size.
Carry on, you're doing a nice job. don't mind the old Fuddy Duddy here. :-)

The plugin for Coda:
1. Lack of batch processing ability. You have to minify the files one by one manually, which is a waste of time.
2. Lack of advanced settings of the JS compression. You can't control the suffix, can't contorl the linebreak, can't control the obfuscate local symbols, can't contorl the semicolons, can't control the built-in micro optimizations.
Smaller:
1. Batch minify CSS and JS files. Simply drop files or folders that containing CSS and JavaScript files. Smaller can recursively find out all the CSS and JS files under that folder (including its sub folders) and add them to the minify queue.
2. Advanced settings. A professional web developer definitely need the advanced settings. In Smaller you can not only customize your own suffix but can also contorl the linebreak, obfuscate, semicolons, micro optimizations and more.
Learn more form http://smallerapp.com , don't forget to check the built-in document via the menu "Help" - "Smaller Help", you can find lots of interesting stuff too.
Hope this helps. :)
