What is the difference between what these guys have done (packaged a hack and now charge for it) as opposed to the hacks that are out there for free. If you can't see the difference then you must work for the company that developed the "app".
Perhaps you should go to the developer's web site and read fully about the application. Then you'll probably see there is a difference and that giving it 1/2 star rating was baseless.
Why pay for this when it is completely free on the net? I've been Air Printing for quite a while. Sorry but I would not pay one dollar for something that does the same thing that I can get for free.
Because it *is* a hack. You're changing the foundation of your OS X install, and when Apple pushes an update you may face, err, unpredictable results.
Apple may have had good reasons NOT to include AirPrint this time around. I also know how to "hack" AirPrinting "by hand." But I know better than to do so on an enduser's Mac. And actually software like Printopia or this offering is a more elegant solution in that it supplements rather than *changes* your base operating system.
I read it and I am still not convinced that it is worth paying for. There is this thing called an opinion. Go to www.dictionary.com and read what it means. There are plenty of scripts out there that do the exact same thing and they are for free. I will say however that I was incorrect in awarding a one star to the developer and I will attempt to remedy that, but my OPINION still stands. By the way, I could not care less about minus or plus ratings as these are awarded by anonymous people that mean very little to me.
I don't see the need to be personally derogatory like you've become on this matter. Surely you can discuss your "opinion" without slander!
I felt you did not fully understand the product by stating that it was no different than the free scripts out there (which I'm quite aware of), and thus were providing potential users a false impression by your rating as to the capabilities of FingerPrint and the merits of its cost.
In fact, I'd give you a full apology if you can provide a link to or the actual code for any of the "plenty of scripts out there that do the exact same thing and they are for free"...which includes saving the print file to PDF, saving to DropBox, and send an image to iPhoto to edit through your iOS device.

You have become annoying now.
1. I do not need your apology nor do I care if I receive one from you. You don't seem to get the fact that you do not matter to me.
2. I am not going to provide you jack. I made my statement about the app. If you want to pay for it then do so. I don't see the need to.
3. Stop annoying me.
4. I corrected my mistake of issuing one star. It now has five.
5. See number 3.
