For whatever reason - aesthetics? - I couldn't live with those stupid line around the dock - This is a great replacement for the much-mourned transparent dock. Thanks to the dev!
Best system utility of its kind. The interface updates with this latest release, written fully in Cocoa, are first-rate, eliminating the former need to manually remove files and update via the Terminal. Many thanks to the developer for this great app, and for keeping it donation-ware, to boot (pun intended). If you're looking to simplify your Dock by liberating it from all the overdesign, download Mirage, give it a go, and donate. The new UI is beautiful. (Note: I'm a longtime and enthusiastic Mirage user and have no relationship with the developer.)
What am I missing? This did not do anything to my dock whatsoever except relaunch it. Still looks the same, nothing is transparent, nothing is invisible. ?

Gives me that outline-free dock I cannot live without.

I've been a happy user for a long time and hate to give up a clear dock via Mirage.

It makes the dock look like it is floating and looks stunning.
