Vicomsoft FTP Client... From the makers of highly regarded Internet security and content filtering software for Mac OS X, Vicomsoft FTP Client offers extreme performance and unrivaled reliability, married with a sleek and intuitive user interface.
First released in 1997, the latest version of FTP Client represents the culmination of over 10 years experience in FTP transfers on the Mac platform. Now a Universal Binary, FTP Client v4.6 offers an incredible speed boost over its previous versions when running on Intel-based Macs. In addition, version 4.6 has a beautifully streamlined
FTP Client has been updated fairly regularly with improvements and bug fixes. For example, Since v4.6 we added:
QuickLook preview support
Growl notification support
IPv6 support via EPSV/EPRT commands
Support for public key authentication
New licensing + built-in purchase system
Built-in check for updates support
... and several other smaller enhancements and of course, bug fixes.
We also needed to make many adjustments in order to support the changes Apple made in Snow Leopard, and subsequently Lion, hence the update today.
While we do appreciate that FTP Client is not for everyone, to say that it has not been improved for years is simply not true.

Drag n' drop doesn't seem to work under panther ;-( And it bombs away. Pretty unstable. Maybe 4.0.3 will fix this? Otherwise a great app!

Hands-down the ultimate FTP client. I have been (very unpatiently) waiting for this release and it does not disappoint. Accepts all of my previous Bookmarks without a hassle! Looking forward to dumping Fetch now. Congrats! Great OSX release!!!

I used their demo, which worked great for 30 days, and bought the software. I spent 6 hours so far trying to get my system out of crashes. Just like any 3rd party software you can be really be bugged down by some God knows what extension conflict. Once again the demo worked perfectly but the tech support has not responded yet. So there is no tech support to speak of when you really need it. Fetch still has an icon on my desktop even though it has its flaws.
