I got this a while back on sale on the App Store. Works great. The refresh is slow, so you'll want to use it for windows that don't update fast, but it does work as described and it's inexpensive.
I just found out that DisplayPad does not support system that can do Graphics Switching, such as my MBP. To work around I need to disable "Automatic Graphics Switching" option in the Energy Saver pane in System Preference, otherwise it claims that installing DisplayPad would make my system unusable... :(
Otherwise, I got it working for my home Mac which does not have this switching capability, and I must admit it is a great tool with great potentials.
