There is nothing wrong with BBEdit as a text editor, but it's like comparing a car to a bicycle. They will both get you from A to B.
This is a Java app so obviously it won't look like a native app. When you are coding do you look at your code or the icons ?
PS there is a brilliant plugin called CSS-X-Fire which integrates FireFox(Bug) with PHP Storm. You can make CSS changes in Firebug, and will update your CSS files.
