Based on the iPhotoToGallery plugin by Zach Wily.
I had to manually create the ~/Library/Application Support/iPhoto/Plugins directory
Dropped the plugin in. Worked as expected except for crashing when "Open album in browser" was checked.
Posted a problem notice, the problem was fixed in less than 12 hours.
Now that Gallery3 is "live" and there is an iPhoto plugin that works I can spend my time adapting my Gallery2 to live in Gallery3.
To install it, you need to :
On gallery server
1) check that your gallery3 server php.ini memory_limit is at 32MB at least (see http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery3:Requirements)
2) Activate the REST module in your Gallery server via the administration pages.
On mac client
1) decompress the zip file
2) stop iPhoto
3) copy the “iPhotoToGallery3.iPhotoExporter” folder to the “~/Library/Application Support/iPhoto/Plugins” folder. If this folder doesn't exist then create it.
4) start iPhoto
This plugin works with iPhoto 11 too.
