This program is worth it just to get the ray burst pattern generators. Yeah, it's not that hard to make your own ray bursts in Photoshop or Illustrator, but it takes time and a lot of steps to get the pattern that you want. This makes it really really easy to produce a whole bunch of ray burst variations quickly.

A lot of the pattern templates are mostly filler and have limited use, but I don't hold that against this program. It's to be expected that some patterns are just plain weak and aren't going to be useful. If you get stuck on some unexciting patterns, keep playing with it because there more than a few really useful ones hiding amongst the mediocre templates.

The only thing keeping me from giving this a five star rating is the lack of the ability to import your own vectors to use in the patterns. I hope that comes in a future release.

This app takes all the pain out of creating small, seamless tiling backgrounds -- great for web work. Count me in on the promo!

This software is very acurate at making all sorts of beautifull patterns, in a breeze, but I won't pay so much despite.
