I've changed it days ago through the terminal, but a handy tools for newbies anyway. Even though the vertical buttons are the least of iTunes 10's problems.

Thanks. Yeah I think so too. Maybe I'll write a tool to bring the iTunes 9 UI back to Version 10.

I'd definitely LOVE to have my colors back!

iTunes has a long history of breaking Apple's own user interface guidelines. The zoom button minimizes it, window items become more defined when in the background instead of faded.. This is just one more dichotomy.

There are already some skins available. I installed one from MacThemes.net, which brings back the colors to the iTunes Sidebar. Just search around the board and you'll probably find more mods.

Sure, you can do it that way too. It doesn't matter, but I wrote this script for the people out there who don't want to or don't know how to use the terminal.

Just type the following line in the Terminal and restart iTunes:

defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -1

No need to download anything.

Thank you, Sir! :-)

Typed that in the Terminal and restarted iTunes. Back to the way it was...
