Dioretsa is a PDF viewer that manages PDF files with tabs. The name of PDF file would be shown in the tab and window title. It can select tab by tab-list, search a word from search box and show outline of PDF file smoothly by using Dioretsa. In addition, view in full screen, show current PDF file in Finder and move among tabs are available.
When you would like to open PDF files, you can do it by ⌘+O, pushing "open PDF file" button, drag and drop PDF file to Dock icon of Dioretsa or right clicking on PDF files then choose Dioretsa at "open file (PDF only) with...".
What's New
Version 3.6.3:
How to show outline and thumbnails in full screen is changed and you can show them by moving mouse cursor to right end of screen.
Moreover expression for outline and thumbnails got better.
NOt sure why you would need this. ALl this is avaialable in Preview.
Just have your View Sidebar Thumbnails open then drag each PDF you want to work with to the sidebar. They will show up as "tabs" in the sidebar so you can easily flip between them, search, annotate, etc.
I think you get just as much if not more with Preview (compared to this).
Putting multiple documents into Preview's sidebar is very clumsy and slow to use since it also uses that for searches and other functions. It makes the UI element (sidebar) too overloaded.
Preview needs tab views pretty badly.
Foxit for Windows is nice, for example.
Perhaps someone could come up with a better method even than tabs, but Preview definitely is not good for managing a lot of PDF files, such as when programming, playing games with extensive PDF file documentation and personal notes, or doing research.
