myAppLauncher allows you to quickly launch your apps.
No - no replacement for Quicksilver.
No - no replacement for LaunchBar at all. LaunchBar is an awesome app.
It's just a very simple app for quick launching your applications - nothing more!
It's no calculator, no clipboard manager and of course no toaster and coffeemaker. It fits my needs - thats all :-)
What's New
Version 1.8:
added Global Hotkey for the Finder
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.5.8 or later.
Somewhat comparable to "Namely" so you might want to try both.
I have lots of apps so I wish the "selection list" was expandable-only four apps are visible at once without scrolling through the list.
Also, the path of the app is shown, which is a nice feature for people with a ton of apps. However, often this feature causes the name of an app that is nested inside several folders to be entirely truncated. You have no idea what you are selecting, except for the app's icon. Until these two problems are fixed, I'll have to stay with Namely.
Other than those issues, it seems to be well on its way to being a first rate app.
