Ok... this looks extremely similar to GL-117, which has been around for years and was released under the GPL. (look at the screenshots - http://www.heptargon.de/gl-117/gl-117.html )
If the person who wrote this software has used any code from GL-117, they are bound by the GPL to distribute their software (even if it's modified) under the same license, providing the source code as well (it can't be shareware)!
Too bad that GL-117 is only compiled as a PowerPC application.
On the other hand reading the comments and looking to the screenshots it's better this way :). Anyway, I'm going to download the source so I can compile it for Intel & PowerPC. Thanks for the tip Neil! Sincerely.
As a flight sim buff, I'm suffering from the current dearth of good flight sims, so JASA was bound to catch my eye - despite the appalling web site. Unfortunately, sometimes the first impression is right. JASA is simply *bad*. The graphics aren't even up to early 1990's standards, the flight model is a joke, the controls imprecise and weird, maps, planes and missions have no relation whatsoever to "Afghanistan" and in five minutes playing, I found a handful of gamebreaking bugs (key commands aren't displayed in the tutorial, enemies don't turn up, missiles aren't fired).

It's not as great as F117 Stealth or Enemy Engaged or similar flight sims but is worth playing it as casual game instead.
I give it a mixed 4-5 rating.
