ditto, maybe I'm too cynical but could be crap and only a dollar banking on most people just going ahead and paying it ,after all it's only a buck right? For me it's the principaland i had trouble getting the web site link to work , once i got to it via another route not much there but one other app thats also a brand new baby and cost the same dollar. i'll wait rather than have a mess to clean up for a buck.
Hi, our objective is to deliver desktop-quality apps at iPhone-prices. We'll work better shareware functionality into the app, but this is lower priority than adding more real value.
Other apps in this category cost $20 or more. Our contract with customers is that you get lifetime updates and a great application. In exchange you have to pay $1 up front instead of $20 after a trial period.
Additionally, we offer a personal satisfaction guarantee. If you don't like the app write us and we'll refund your money.
The true goal with this pricing is to just get the value into everybody's hands, to make price a non-issue. So, if you do decide to try Clerk or Cuadro, or any of the apps that we're soon to release, I personally hope that you enjoy them and get from them what you're looking for. Really, it's an insane value at $1.
Thanks for taking the time to comment instead of moving on!
OK. I know. I'm being a bit pedantic here, but really. I know it's only one dollar. But what happened to try before you buy? I'd really like to get under the hood of this thing before I give any money.
Yeah. Maybe I'm being unreasonable here. After all it's only a buck. But what if this turns out to be some piece of c--p?
I was just thinking the same. No trial? Oh, hell, it's just 1$... but what if is a crappy app? Hopefully someone will try it and post a well done review here.
