I am unlucky enough to be from US... Why then
advertise this software here in the US?

Here in germany there are many free channels, but the private channels are missing and if you want to watch HiQ you have to pay.
But it's still quite useful without paying.
And yes, you have to subscribe with a mail adress, but since there is no mail confirmation (or was no mail confirmation when I subscribed) you can just enter anything.
Just give it a try!

No subscription needed at all.You do have to register, but that's all.
Zattoo works well, the problem is it's really been surpassed by catchup tv (www.catchuptv.com) that offers more channels & can even be viewed on your iPhone.
However for what it does it does well.

Subscription might be required from outside the UK.
