I understand but it makes it impossible to download it anymore. Nobody is going to register a premium account with RapidShare just to download smallluxGPU....
Info: The slg devs working on new slg (engine used in my benchmark) version, which puts more work on the gpu. I think first versions will be available in the next 4-6 weeks.
dade, main dev of slg, made an new HD Video which shows main usage (and goal in the future 2011+) of slg + slg plugin together with BLENDER. slg works as preview-window in realtime!!

SORRY, first 1.7.0 build uses an older slg engine 1.5Beta4 (shown in interactive sceen window title). I fixed the 1.7.0 build now and included NEW 1.6Beta1 slg engine.
New sppm raytraycing method can now used (by key 2) now in the interactive mode. 1.5Beta4 cant do that. SORRY.

Intel Core i7 CPU 920@2.67GHz 3000MHz
ATI 4850 GS Gainward 510Mb (perform near same speed as 4870)
Benchmark Modes OPENCL CPU only and Hybrid
Highend CPU only : 61,0 s
UltraHigh CPU only: 55,0s // faster on quad cpu as highend bench
Highend hybrid: 20,1s // gpu bosst 3 times
Ultrahigh hybrid: 31,1s //gpu boost 2 times
Highend GPU only : 23,9s
Ultrahigh GPU only : 63,1s
Benchmark GPU with OpenCL pixel filtering
Filter none: 796,59M
Filter Preview: 183,80M
Filter Gaussian: 88,59M
1.6.1 soon ! window title shows 1.6.0, but its 1.6.1 ;) Also download name ends with..161.zip
No benchmark speed changes except ultra high hybrid/ cpu only on i7/XEON cpus - they will perform even better in ultra high hybrid/cpu only. Less speed changes for C2D cpu users in that ultra high mode.
Also interesting is the new information values shown in the interactive mode like VRAM usage and pixelfilter speed , because interactive scenes are always filtered for less noise.
You are indeed correct, it downloads with Safari, albeit not Firefox. I should have mentioned my browser client (FF 3.6.4) as well, I just assumed it should work "across the board".
Major update: slg even m,or optimized, settings of Mid Range gpu only bench changed to run much faster for 9400M, GT120 , complete rewritten hybrid vs cpu only benchmarks.
So all measured times with older versions cant be compared to that version (+ all upcoming).
I removed all old reference time but updated my times with 8800GT with that new version in the results windows.
