Not attempting to be teaser comments! We are working on iOS functionality. However, providing Slink-like functionality on iOS is somewhere between hard and impossible on the complexity scale in the sense that some features can be implemented, while others cannot.
We are absolutely working on iOS functionality, but for obvious reasons do not want to discuss anything until we have something that we can launch. We really apologize that we cannot be more specific!

Slink 1.9.9 is now available on the Mac App Store. Apologies for the delay. For some reason took a really long time to approve this time.

Firstly, many thanks for your feedback and rating of Slink. Much appreciated!
Slink 1.9.9 will be available soon on the Mac App Store. We just hit some snags with the getting this version set-up for Apple's approval process. All sorted now, and Slink 1.9.9 should be available sometime next week. Apologies for the delay!

Plus, it lets me see all Bonjour stuff on the remote LAN, including other Macs for Screen Sharing, Files, ssh, printing, etc.

Just let us know if you find any issues with Slink on Lion going forward. We will of course fix any issues with priority.

Stumble upon this promo.... and I am really glad I did. Very easy, simple, and straight to the point!
I like not having to go to the web to access a remote computer or logging in and out to help other Mobileme family members (using my laptop).
Now I just wish there was an iphone/ipad app (just like Logmein).
But this software is one more reason I will hunt down family members to switch to Mac!
Rest assure that we are definitely looking at iOS,

With Slink you need at least one Mac at home running the Slink Agent. In other words, your set-up will not work. Unfortunately, there is no way to install the Slink Agent on the ReadyNAS Duo.
Not what you wanted to hear, so apologies!

Slink requires you to have at least one Mac in the home network. (Can be on or sleeping. Slink can wake it up using Wake on Demand.)
In other words, you will not be able to use Slink with an AirPort Extreme only. This would require Slink software on the AirPort Extreme. While we would love to have Slink running on an AirPort Extreme, only Apple can add functionality/software to the AirPort Extreme!
I suggest you trial Slink using the 14-day free trial to see if it works in your situation. If you have any questions, just contact me on support@slinkware.com and I will assist.

I went to the Slink FAQ page and it says that it requires that both host and remote computers be Intel Mac and that Slink is NOT a UB. Now I'm a bit confused. I get info on the app and it states it is a UB. I was able to install the Prefpane on my home Mac Mini (PowerPC) that I use as a media server without any problem. So it seems Slink IS a UB. So, my host computer is PowerPC, but all my remote computers are Intel. Could this be why I can't connect? I would love to use this in place of the soon to be totally defunct SimplifyMedia, but it just doesn't work for me.

Slink _is_ a Universal Binary, but PowerPC support is experimental and we do not recommend installing until we have tested further. We do state this in the release notes, but I now realize that we must be much more explicit about this. I will add notes to the download and FAQ page re this.
There is currently an issue on PowerPC that means that while services are discovered, they cannot be used.
Would appreciate if you could e-mail me, olof@slinkeware.com, so that I can keep you up to date on the PowerPC testing.
Again, many apologies for the confusion.
