My eBay Dashboard Widget...
This Dashboard widget allows you quick tracking of your eBay items. Including bidding, won and lost items. After registering with our site, you can watch your favorite items, jump to the auction and place your bids.
- Also, you can directly search through the eBay marketplace and find interesting auctions.
- To use this widget, get yourself an free account.
- After free registration, enter the registered username and password in the widget settings. You will then prompted for your eBay details. After assigning them with this widget, you're good

- You just want to use this widget to track favorite eBay items without any login? That's great, just enter up to 3 favorite items in the widget's watchlist on the backside and you can track them right from your Dashboard. No need to enter a user/password here.

First, you have to sign up for an account at dashboard-widgets.eu. Why? I don't know. You don't seem to be able to login online and manage (or delete) your account afterwards, so I can't imagine why it would be necessary.
The website seems to suggest that the dashboard-widgets.eu account is optional, but I tried entering auction numbers on the reverse of the widget without entering account info and was repeatedly told to create a dashboard-widgets.eu account.
Then you have to authorize the widget with eBay. Fair enough. But even after doing that, the widget doesn't retrieve any of my watched items and still tells me to "create dashboard-widgets.eu account".
Unless there's a really good reason for it that I'm missing, the devs would seem to be able to save themselves (and end users) a lot of hassle by eliminating the dashboard-widgets.eu account requirement. Shame, too, because good eBay widgets for Dashboard are in scarce supply.

I'm still a bit confused, but I will say that things are working with the German-language v1.0.
first thanks for you feedback. We liked it a lot and updated the widget. We recently launched version 1.7 which should fix a couple of bugs. Also, there is now a help section at http://dashboard-widgets.eu/help/
If you still feel you dont need an dbw account, just clear out username+password. You will be able to track up to 3 favorite items without and login.
