To DOOBIEXX, I'm sorry you have such a problem with the software. Once again, if you want to email me, we can sort out the issue. If you don't like it being installed in the root folder, I could maybe make you a version that just installs in your home directory. Contact me.
Lots of other people are not having the issues you both have, so it would be good to work out why.

From the Developer:
On some systems, the New... option will not appear in the Finder Services menu. If this occurs, take the following steps.
1. Go to the System Volume (by default, "Macintosh HD").
2. Open the folder "Library".
3. Open the folder "Services".
4. Locate the workflow "New...workflow" and double-click it. The workflow will open in Automator.
5. Type COMMAND-S to save the file unchanged, then Quit Automator.
MY EXPERIENCE:
The NEW OPTION does not appear.
The WORKFLOW referenced also does not exist.
