I've released 1.1, which allows the user to install just for that user, rather than all users (installing in the root folder). Hopefully this will make users like DOOBIEXX more comfortable.

To FLASH1296, if you contact me, we can probably work out why you aren't seeing the New... option. If you can't find the New...workflow file, then yes, it isn't going to appear. We'd need to investigate.

To DOOBIEXX, I'm sorry you have such a problem with the software. Once again, if you want to email me, we can sort out the issue. If you don't like it being installed in the root folder, I could maybe make you a version that just installs in your home directory. Contact me.

Lots of other people are not having the issues you both have, so it would be good to work out why.

The installer claims to have install "templates":

From the Developer:

On some systems, the New... option will not appear in the Finder Services menu. If this occurs, take the following steps.

1. Go to the System Volume (by default, "Macintosh HD").
2. Open the folder "Library".
3. Open the folder "Services".
4. Locate the workflow "New...workflow" and double-click it. The workflow will open in Automator.
5. Type COMMAND-S to save the file unchanged, then Quit Automator.

MY EXPERIENCE:

The NEW OPTION does not appear.
The WORKFLOW referenced also does not exist.

Flash, you download EVERYTHING lol. Anyhow you are completely correct at the moment; "templates" does nothing as of now on 10.6. It does not show in finder. I also followed the dev's instructions and the "new..." workflow does not change anything appearing in your services. As of now I would agree with flash, stay away from this app/bash script workflow as it does nothing on a 10.6 machine and I don't like it installing in the root services directory... completely unnecessary.
