Buggy! Keeping the right times doesn't work properly. For instance when changing the name of an older project it takes over the time value from the newest project.
Ok, this is getting serious now. Eon adds or changes times when adding projects or changing names of existing projects. If I didn't know the FuelCollective guys to be pretty decent developers I'd give this app a 0.5 star rating.
They are very different apps, the only thing they have in common is they track time. This Eon is for financial purposes and a general timer while the other Eon is really just a calendar you can put on your desktop to do with what you want.
Are you that confused by the names? Are the negative comments necessary? Why even the post?
You saw this app and have also come across the other "Eon" app and just decided to waste space with non-sense comments. I bet you didn't even try the app. All of that is besides the point. Just because two apps are named the same there is no problem unless one of the companies trademarked the name and care to have a dispute. If the developer of the "first" Eon does not bring this to the surface it seems he recognizes the frivolity of the dispute.
@ Fishscale How exactly can one not be confused when two applications bear the exact same name?
There you have it. You have me waste even more virtual space on nonsensical comments.
And another thing (well, not really 'another' thing, rather tightly related): why even change the name of an appropriately named app (PunchClock) to something that makes little sense and is already used by someone else? Is a little imagination really that hard?
I don't really see what difference the file size of the application should make to it's pricing. Surely it's all about value to the end user?
I wonder if you even tried this application? It's not a "desktop clock" it's a project time tracking utility that works with online services like Basecamp and Freshbooks.
