bkBrowser allows the user to take a snapshot of a webpage from their favorite web browser and catalog it. Select a snapshot and then double-click on the selection in the list to access the website.
bkBrowser doesn't work in such a way that you have to take website snapshots for yourself and import them to the application. All you need is URL text from a web browser. Just drag and drop URL text from your web browser onto bkBrowser's drop box. After a resized image pops up, click on the Create button. Can a bookmark catalogue application any simpler than that?

Version 1.2:
The size of the preview window will be automatically adjusted regardless of the window size of a web browser when the user creates a new bookmark.
The tab sorting function on the Bookmark List box is disabled.
We did update bkBrowser to 1.2.0 an hour ago. But we have not submitted an update to this MacUpdate. What is bkBrowser 1.6.2? We have no idea. Ask MacUpdate or whoever the misrepresenter is.
Hmm... Your cursor doesn't turn itself into a camera icon, huh? According to this screenshot (http://mac.softpedia.com/progScreenshots/bkBrowser-Screenshot-68438.html), Softpedia doesn't seem to have trouble.
I've try bkBrowser this morning, and it simply doesn't work. (I'm running tiger)
I dragged many urls to the dropbox (after creating folder) and I have each time the same message:
bkBrowser cannot create a bookmark because there is no no webpage picture attached to it.
Now, access a webpage you want to bookmark with your web browser. Click in the URL box and drag the fav icon or the entire URL text towards bkBrowser.
done
And finally drop this URL text onto bkBrowser's drop box.
done
By your doing so, the Mouse pointer will transform itself into a camera icon, which will lets you select any of the open windows, not just that of a web browser.
No camera to select window
Now, click on the web browser once. And wait for bkBrowser to spring up a small window. This window should show you the exact URL from your web browser with a resized snapshot of the current web page aside.
