Nothing really new, here... But Ommwriter is a bit "pretentious", too "glossy" for me.
I prefer Bean's full screen feature. I can choose my colors and I'm not limited to various Fengshui background colors.
The keyboard sounds are great, though. Strangely, they really help me concentrate.

Anyway, if you're looking for a simple and minimalist distraction free writing app, Ommwriter is an excellent choice. If it wasn't for Byword this was my text editor of choice as well.

I wanted something like myTexts but without the sudden crashing (thank God myTexts had auto-save). Today I looked around after two crashes with myTexts, and OMM. What else can I say?
Thanks to the developers for a really thoughtful app. You don't need to do more to it. Keep it simple. But that said, how about a pure black background, or dark gray? I will donate more money to you soon, as soon as some of my writing assignments pay off. Thanks!

To actually use this app, you have to save your work, then import the text data into another word processor for formatting and printing.
If you only want to write a haiku or two a week while being entranced by the audio and visual treats, this app is for you. If you want to write, well, maybe a future version will include some practical features.

This software almost puts you on a trance... where words flow naturally from somewhere else back in your unconscious mind.
Try it and you'll see what I mean....

Does anyone know a solution for this? It makes OmmWriter completely unusable for me.
