For those who think the price is high and the product is expensive, just try some of the low cost solutions for these kind of planners. You will definitely not satisfied and also not good support for free or low cost products. Planning force provided me both.
And when to be specific for the planning force portfolio planner, I must say it saves most of my scheduling and planning time.

I demo'ed it and cannot see why it is worth $1495 - Merlin may not have all the financial reporting, but it's only €145 and more than 10% as good as this.

We provide an engine which schedules for you, that means you only define your ressources and projects and everything is automatically scheduled based on your requirements (availabilites, resource calendars, efficiency...)
To be clear: You don't have to draw your Gantt yourself.
This software has already been chosen by the biggest names (check our website to see) and by small companies and freelancers as well.
We already have a version at $365...
