Look forward to having a Full Screen World Map option to complete the package.

I run a lean system so I don't run things like EarthDesk.
Sorry If I came on a little strong in my first post. I really appreciate the fact that you worked hard to get out a Lion compatible version BEFORE Lion ships. I understand the deadlines you were under. Thanks!

I like their products and their customer support is excellent. I really appreciate that this version is still PPC-compatible, but I can't find a reason to upgrade. Font and size are not available in version 6, or at least I could not find those options. With 11 clocks, I like to use a smaller font. It would also be nice to import preferences from previous versions, instead of having to do the setup from scratch.
I think that the first product of this kind that I used was the Control Strip World Clock CSM, now World Clock Deluxe. These days I use YouControl to track time across 16 cities. Without the ability to use smaller fonts I'll pass on this one.
As mentioned below, it also lacks maps and international weather. Another thing I noticed is that CPU usage is greater with the new version (0.1-0.5, 5 threads vs. 2.8-4.0, 8 threads).
I'll check it again in the future.

From the Developer: "Time Palette v6 does not include maps because we feel that EarthDesk does a much better job of displaying them. However, if a lot of customers want the maps re-instated, we will consider that."
Hence, for the moment, you'll need to purchase Earth Desk if you want to see World Maps. :( I suggest you contact the developer with your feedback. Bring back the maps!

So why this "upgrade" now? Do a Get Info on the old version (5.7.10) and you'll see it's PowerPC. Lion's release is imminent, which explains it all IMNSHO.
