For Tiger (10.4) Users: I've fixed another weird bug that prevents window save in some situations (Tiger is an eerie beast if you have to debug "complex" AppleScripts made on Leopard) so I have uploaded a new version (2.0.101) as "silent update". Download again if you downloaded 2.0.1 yesterday, and let me know if you find other bugs. Thanks.

Very good Utility with great potential. Is there any way to write a "put back" command from the trash where FW could bring up a list of items in the trash and you could select the one you wish to return to its original location. Another good one would be a force quit app command to go with quit all apps. Just a thought. End of Line...

Sorry friends, but how should I update this product when I have already installed an old version in the Finder bar?

Hold the Command (Apple) key and drag the old one out of the toolbar, delete it, then place the new one in your applications folder (or where you prefer) and drag it on the Finder window toolbar.

What a very nice tool. It does so much, and what it does do, it does very well. Thanks for the nice tool, and thanks so much for providing it for free. One thing I would ask though... maybe for slow folks like me, you could provide some documentation/instructions?
Thanks again and keep up the good work!

I just updated it (2.0.1) and really had not time to write help. If there is something that's not clear after a test, or some term you can't find on Google, feel free to email me! Remember that some functions appear contextually (e.g. if you have selected some files in Finder).

I also would greatly appreciate some instructions and/or Help. I'm quite computer literate, but still unsure how to make the most of this application. Thanks !

It looks terrific, but it requires Rosetta, and I'm resisting installing this..

No problem on intel (it's a carbon AppleScript) and doesn't need to be installed, just run.

Excellent little utility, automates tedious actions and provides workarounds to some annoyances in the Finder.

Thanks to the developer for making this free.

My only compliant is the rather overbearing icon included for the Finder's toolbar.

You can use Finder's Get Info and paste a custom icon.

Is it possible to arrange three finder windows? Two used to be perfect for my Macbook but just bought a new iMac and a three-landscape arrangement would be ideal.

Thanks.

Is there a way to install on SL/Intel without Rosetta? If so how. This has great potential.
Thanks

David, from what I see on the Net, Rosetta can be only useful; anyway for your happiness I have recompiled it as universal application. Just download again. And thank you for making me realize that the Rosetta dialog can "worry" some Snow Leopard user.
