Hi, has anyone who has downloaded it actually tried this yet, I am curious to find out what people ( ie MySql experts ) think about it compared to say, Sequel Pro.
I ask since I notice this software is currently part of an available software bundle and I could do with some easy to use MySql software
If I was to pay for this kind of thing I'd go for something like SQLEditor. It's more expensive but a lot more bang for the buck (No affiliations). It doesn't seem like Stor does anything that Sequel Pro doesn't do for free. I've been using Sequel Pro and Cocoa Mysql before that, never had a need to go beyond that. They both give all kinds of goodies, including the excel-like interface, the console view which shows/teaches SQL as it's being written etc. Considering Sequel Pro, I'm not sure what you're buying here.
My $0.02 worth.
I agree with the previous comment. Sequel Pro does so much more than this, looks better, and has a very active community of developers and users. And it's free.
For really serious MySQL development work, I use a combination of Sequel Pro and MySQL Workbench (the latter for visual design of the database, user management and for coding up stored procedures, triggers etc)
Another option is Querious, but again it offers little above and beyond Sequel Pro that I can see, and the development seems painfully slow. And you have to pay, which in itself is not a bad thing, but I'd expect more progress from a paid-for app.
There is also Navicat of course (I thoroughly dislike it's interface but it is feature rich), and various Java-based tools too.
The bottom line is, download and try them all. You are sure to find something that suits both your needs and your budget.
There are currently no troubleshooting comments. If you are experiencing a problem with this app, please post a comment.

The forum settings were a mistake and have now been fixed, sorry about that!
