This is a really great theme! I've actually been doing out of the way things on my applications just to see the notifications.

Really nice Growl style. The animation from the right side may be a little too distracting but the left one is a nice touch. Simple and classy. Good job!

Nice Growl Style! Perhaps adding a border or rounded corners would be a good improvement to give it a more finished look.

I agree, rounded corners would definitely be a nice touch. Other than that this is a great Growl style, which will probably replace my current favorite (smoke).
