Worth its price.
+4
I bought it on discount (which had a few hidden costs) & still haven't warmed up to it.
Therefore my opinion is premature.
The concept behind this is good.
The idea of process screens & perspective grids is a good one, but in a large way, this feels to me, to be a slightly customized Photoshop-type of application. I can do most of this in other draw applications.
What it gives me is a directed way to work, with a sketch mode that auotmatically works in blueline on a background layer, over which I trace.
For my part, I've always liked Painter despite a different interface, but failed to keep up with upgrades.
Nothing is quite as gratifying as working on real paper for the sketching part & no one has really made in-roads enough to persuade me that there is a digital app for actual drawing that has truly arrived, yet.
Digital inking may be its value & strength, but I can't decide yet.
