Wonderful app! I really hope that Apple will include it in a future release of OS X.

To move back and forth between the mantissa and exponent use the page up or page down keys on the keyboard.

not really a complaint, but I find the absence of a Hours, minutes and seconds, Decimal degrees key renders it unsuitable in Trig unless your doing just "degree only" type calculations. It has some other nice features though.

RPN Scientific Calculator opens quickly which is nice when I want to do a quick calculation. This version is not programmable, but if I want to write a program, I'll use something like c, FORTRAN, MatLab, Mathematica or LabView. The conversions are easy to use. What is especially important is that it has stack manipulation commands. The one that comes with the Mac does not. Also, the Mac calculator gives incorrect answers in RPN mode. Also, this calculator looks nice.

For those who may not know, the Calculator app included in Mac OS X has both RPN and scientific modes. I assume this one has additional features, but combining those two modes in the included Calculator app was enough to make me feel at home.

Fans of the HP RPN calculators will find the layout less familiar, but for anyone just wanting a generic RPN calculator and not a clone of some lost favorite, satisfying.
