Well, than you will have a lot to do…
Besides that - I don't know who you are or what your problem is (or had been) - but I am quite sure that there is a reason why I got 'angry' in your eyes and that there have been two parts (people) and that I never get angry when I am kindly asked for help and when the person who had asked is able to 'receive' help…
Take a few slow deep breaths and relax. The internet is a wild world filled with ranting lunatics and nutjobs. Ignore the idiots and focus on your software. Reacting to the crazies is exactly what they want you to do.

1. I've received your 'smart a**" mail yesterday

I've immediately answered your mail within minutes (telling you that never ever one other user your problem or point of view before, that a simple question if there is something wrong with the export had been enough AND telling you that your complain (except the choice of words) of course makes much sense…
3. NO 12 HOURS LATER there is an update out there regarding the wish of one out of thousands…
4. You really must have bad luck - you are the first ever reporting a crash since month/years
I know I have to be polite and friendly because it is business and I have to worry about ratings like yours - but hey, there is much more in life than making money - so please search for another app/developer you can bash - oh no, better - write your own app making it all better, including the communication with customers like yours - oh no - your'e even not a customer - so testers that need to act like you…

I was also told that the word I was looking for is "smarty-pants" or "know-it-all"
So, just don't panic when you read the word with a** - it's just the rude German developer with its lousy English skills…
Everything will be fine, your kids are save and I will never ever use this word in public again

Quote end - but the developer's rant goes on. I had to replace the three-letter profanity to "blip" as MacUpdate would not allow to publish the review.

Even if the misleading interface, well, mislead me, it is not appropriate to call a customer names. And have "create.live.love" proclaimed on the web site.

Also, while I spent the time to replicate the behavior, myTexts crashed twice on OSX 10.6.4 - hence the stability rating

The developer doesn't sleep. My questions were answered from the other side of the world in about half an hour. He is also polite, patient and understanding. Rare indeed.
I like that you can so easily set tasks such setting the toggle on the sidebar, fonts and just about all you could or would ever need to just plain write for hours and hours without fatigue in the highest possible state of creative focus. Try writing against the Aluminium or green backgrounds in full screen mode - just delicious.
Yes, the price varies depending on how the Euro translates to your country's exchange rate - but benchmarked at around the current price - it is fair and if you have an iPad, you just have to get the myTexts app for that little beauty - it can swap docs both ways on sync.
I like it a lot. It has that something special. You feel it as you use it. You have to experience that on something creative. it slowly disappears over about half an hour of use and you just seem to by typing on to some mind space floating in front of your eyes. Somehow it hides the very technology that drives it.
Definitely four to five stars for my work - the same for the iPad app.

Now I regret having bought the program.
The reason?
Writing texts is not like listening to songs or watching tv shows.
I usually concentrate on one text at the time, and having all my texts popping up every time I happened to move the cursor to the left of the screen actually disturbed me quite a lot and stole time from my writing.
I've reverted to the more tranquile WriteRoom (greatly recommended!), and a folder in my doc containing a small number of texts-in-the-being.
Writing texts just isn't like listening to songs! :-)

And much more important - why did you not just simply disabled the 'auto show/hide' feature to just concentrate on writing???
But hey - WriteRoom is a great app (if you like to deal with single documents) :-))
