Does what it says, nice and easy, and best of all, allows you to "write" underneath the picture (not an option on alternatives). It would be nice if there were output options other than PNG, and if the options were in a more Mac-Preferences-like interface. But it's a great free app for a little photo fun.

(I'm also playing with Poladroid and Toycamera, because each one has features the others don't.)

Also, CMD+Q doesn't seem to quit.

Artist's utility. When I came across this utility it seemed a superfluous addition but then I started using it and the memories about shooting polaroids returned. This is a great tools for designers and artists who want to give their pictures a polaroid look and feel. And for all those non-supercreative people its handy as a filtering utlity. Just apply color without any plugins and without downloading Gimp or buying Photoshop.

This is a fun little program. It would be nice if there was a hand symbol that would allow the photo to be dragged around. You can zoom closer but not further away. It is nice to see the Polaroid look.

Needs some layout development, agreed; but does just what it says.

thank you for your feedback comment, Harry. i would like to understand more your hint about "more layout development" so i can improve that in this MAC version. i very new to MAC yet, so all feedback is very important for me. cheers.

Come on guys, it's not that bad.

Be fair, this is a freeware and it does what it says. OK, the dialogs are a bit crummy, ... so what?

I had a few minutes fun with it. Thanks to the developer. : )

It might do what is intended but the app is poorly developed and looks like a Java app... Check out the open&save dialogue and you will know what I mean.

yes, the load/save window is to be improved in mac version. thank you for your feedback. this is already in the Pola TODO development list.

Is this application intended to be a serious one, or is it meant to be a joke ? The colors of every image produced by Pola are absolutely revolting. Like a very off-color and very bad swiss cheese !! Is there any way at all to get decent and accurate colors from Pola ? I certainly can't find it, if there is.
