Thank goodness for this patch! There I thought my ISP was responsible for the atrocious loss of speed. This patch fixed my problems on my late-2007 MacBook.

Since Apple makes both the hardware and the software and everything is supposed to work so much better because of this I don't blame you for thinking the problem was with your ISP...
