Well, I don't get it. I set a key combo and it triggers a screen saver but doing a mouse click or pressing any key stops screen saver and returns one to desktop. Nothing at all is locked. What's the benefit to this? Am I missing something here?
There is one more thing you need to do to make this work. In the System Preferences under Security, check the box that says "Require password to wake from sleep... "
This way, you'll need to enter a password every time the screensaver is activated.
Since you have to activate the Password request when exiting from screen-saver or stop mode, you can just use the Mac OS X's integrated keystroke for Quick stop mode (command-option-eject)... It works just fine... And you don't need to load extra-programs in RAM so you save processor cycles and memory...
