This Konzern theme and all of Rapid Ideas' themes are fine examples of Rapidweaver theme design excellence - the look of clean, professional, and functional websites are easily achieved when you begin with these. The developer is very active in his design and support of these great RW themes. One big tip, don't settle for just one of his themes, have 3 or more of Rapid Idea themes in your arsenal for building webpages that sell.

I don't really know Denny Crane's motivation, but his review reads like propaganda. If it's his honest thoughts, I apologize. But honest or not, it reads like partisan hard sell. Surprising in its presumption.

Hi there Charles,

Thank you for writing your thoughts so openly. I'm not affiliated or partisan to Rapid Ideas but merely wrote to convey my enthusiasm for their quality products. In my surfing of themes for Rapidweaver, I have found some to be substandard and quite difficult to consider paying money for. Upon visiting Rapid Idea's site and viewing the catalog of themes, I (and I'm sure many others) have found them to be instantly visually appealing. Some time previously, I made a bundle purchase (right here on MacUpdate) of their themes, and can express no regret at all, but rather full satisfaction. The bottom line? I'm a strong believer in being honest and open in a review - I like to say great things about truly great products. Wouldn't you agree - we all win if happy users and great developers link up?

I'll take you at your word, Dennis.

Perhaps you have a marketing background, or natural inclination - cuz you punched every button I could imagine - including upselling toward the end from 1 to 3 themes, while "promising" the themes would produce websites that SELL. That's pretty strong talk for a user, even a happy user. If you're an enthusiastic kind of guy, I trust my few words won't slow you down. :)

I do like and rely quite a bit on user comments. Here and at versiontracker.com (are they related?). At Amazon and buy.com. A lot of good info mixed in with some that's questionable. But I think one develops a feel for that. Sorry if the feel was wrong in your case.

Just to make it clear: I am not related to denny in any way - but certainly would like to know him personally ;-)
Happy and satisfied customers is a big motivation for my work. RapidWeaver itself has a very strong community, talking to each others, showcasing their site, living together in a virtual neighbourhood. Maybe that is one reason why denny has written the review in that style.

And sure: it is good publicity for me, but you can believe me: he expresses what he thinks, nothing else.

This is another excellent RapidWeaver theme from this developer/designer. The price is fair for the work. There are price breaks for multiple theme purchases (3 or more). This theme has many subtleties of design and function. Also a integrated mediabox is a step forward from previous themes mostly using only greybox functionality. This developer makes theme with a really clean look and supports his work and customers.

I've purchased several themes from this developer in the past and I have to say that he's done some truly innovative work with regards to RW theme design. I can appreciate the time and creativity that goes into making themes that are both usable as well as being easy on the eyes. That being said however, I do think that $18.00 US is a little steep for a single theme especially in these difficult economic times. If I had his talent for creating these RW themes I think that I would rather make a lot of smaller sales rather than just a few large ones but then that's just me. Perhaps the economy in Switzerland isn't in the same shape that it is here in the U.S..

$18 for one template? Can't be serious on this?
How can you justify $18 for a single template?
No one would pay that. Sorry but seems you wasted your time.

I paid that much in a second. The innovation, amount amoount of work and artist's eye in these themes makes it well worth it. This developer is considered a visionary among RW theme developers.
