Then, after you re-launch Pages, you will see a "My Templates" entry at the bottom of the left column ... and there they'll be.
I have a german system and there it is Username/Library/Application Support/iWork and in there are Folders for Pages and Numbers. Navigate to Pages/"Vorlagen" ("Templates" in english) and there are "Meine Vorlagen" ("My Templates" in english). In these Folder put the CONTENT of the downloaded Pagesfolder from . After lauching Pages choose "Meine Vorlagen" ("My Templates") and you will find the Templates. If you paste the Folder with the Content of these Folder in these location it would not work (didn't try but I think it is so.).

I created a "Templates" ƒolder where it ought to be, but that failed to help, as Pages failed to find the templates.
