ScreenSend is a screen shot utility. But it's even more than that: It's a screen shot utility that allows you to select any portion of the screen and automatically upload your screen shot to a web server via FTP. Don't have your own FTP enabled server? That's fine, just choose "Default" when setting up your FTP settings and it will upload to the screen send website, free of charge and without a single ad.
Unlike many other similar products ScreenSend is free. Just plain free. There are no ads, banners, or watermarks put on your images. You can even set it up to upload to your own

ScreenSend also uses Growl, an inovative technology that allows ScreenSend to display small, unobtrusive messages such as "Upload Complete!" or "An error occured!" This isn't required, ScreenSend will work fine without it, but Growl makes it a lot nicer. (Growl needs to be installed separately to use Growl features.)
