Paradise Paintball... Play single and multiplayer against up to 8 friends in a free-for-all shoot out set in an tropical paradise. Multiplayer works over LAN and Internet. What's New
Version 3.0.8:
Improved stability!
Support for additional channels (which means lots more players…)
It's been just over two weeks since we launched Paradise Paintball, and so far the response has been nothing short of amazing. Our players have been truly supportive of the game, and we're really appreciative of that. We've had our share of bugs, but we're working madly to fix them.
So today, we're happy to announce that a new community site for people that like Paradise Paintball has been launched. The forum is aimed at getting players to let us know what features they want us working on, what problems they have, and just generally to discuss with each other, which will become useful when we introduce team play. woohoo smile.gif
The game has worked great for the last couple of weeks, and I have started playing online recently and it's been working great...until today. Now I get "error testing connection" after it briefly flashes all the games currently online the first time. After clicking on the "retry" button, it just goes straight to the error warning. Now, can only play single player mode.
Hi,
I'm sorry about your issue connecting. We have had a huge number of players download recently and our poor server is taking a beating.
We are working to fix the issue as soon as possible.
Thanks for your support. 3D assets are one thing; optimization, networking, FB integration, P2P tech are another. In any case, we hope our next product will suit your taste better.
Thanks to everyone who downloaded our Paradise Paintball widget - we've been surprised how popular it's been, since it was just an internal tech demo a few weeks back.
We've been watching the feedback closely and trying to fix as many bugs as we can. Version 5G has just been posted on Apple.com, and fixes most of the bigger issues.
Apple is taking their sweet time in updating the widget, so here's the link:

You can also play the game within FaceBook and directly from our site @ http://cmune.com

Incidentally, that's on a 2008 Mac Pro with 10Gb RAM and 512Mb nVIDIA 8800GT graphics. Same problem, just a black screen with a question mark box in the middle).
Paradise Paintball is a 3D game that requires a reasonable graphics card. If you have an older system you may experience problems running the game.

Alternatively, please visit http://cmune.com and try to play Paradise Paintball from our site directly (it works in the browser).
If you have a FaceBook account, you can play directly in FaceBook, with live scoring and ranking. http://apps.facebook.com/paradisepaintball
You need the plugin to play which you get when you play the online version. Would be handy to be told that from the start. Now that i have that i will try the widget again and see if it works. Other than that not a bad game just remember to turn the mouse sensitivity down as it's very hard to control.

Does the 3D engine for this widget require any particular browser plug-in?

Seems your machine is more than capable of running the game :)
I've just submitted an updated version of the widget to Apple (v1.5F) which should fix some stability issues.
If you like you can get the latest version here:

Hope this helps.
