A good start. Fast. Simple to use.

Would be nice if it included information about the video (e.g. Title/Filename, video & audio track specs, running time). Would like to see more options.

Even with plugins like Perian, Flip4Mac, and others, it has problems with various formats. FLV invariably causes a crash. WMV's won't load. What about MKV?

I hope development continues.

WMV works fine!
If you want to generate screenshots for wmv files on ScreenCapper you need to modify your flip4mac settings ->system preferences->Flip4mac WMV->player->advanced and add screencapper to import files completely in the player.

I only hope the developer keeps working on it i would like some file info and another way for the time function.

MKV loads but it takes very long time.

Drop the mkv to screencapper and wait....... after a few minutes it loads, dunno why it takes so long

ScreenCapper does indeed work with WMV. I don't know why it didn't work when i originally tried it.

MKV handling is erratic iffy. Sometimes they crash it. Sometimes it works.

Since when does it create screen-cap grids?

finally a great software and a mac version of image grabber for windows.

some features that i think would make this app perfect.

-option to include video & audio properties on the screenshot.
-option to set intervals based on time as well.

Pure GOLD! Well, it suits me perfectly (I'm right in the middle of creating a huge doc with grabs from many hours of video). But I'd been looking for just this function done right and inexpensive for a lot of reasons…and here it is: Very straight-forward, scrubs the clip with the mouse wheel, grabs with a keystroke, and thanks to a quick exchange with the developer, souped up to my specs (auto-save? quality slider?) within about an hour of purchase. Yay! Thanks, Silverscripting…
