Pingguo Dictionary uses OS X's Dictionary program to provide quick access to the popular public domain Chinese-English dictionary files of CC-CEDICT.
This entry refers to the Pinyin edition. A Zhuyin (bopomofo) edition is also available.

I have used this for several years now, and have been very happy with it. I seems to still be fine on OSX 10.7 and 10.8. It works smoothly, and as a very weak speaker of Chinese, it helps me find what I need to communicate with my friends.

Can anyone give link to get the previous version. This does not work anymore and there is no way to contact the authors at their website, I triedto find but their comment function is also broken! Thanks! This does not work on 10.5.8 anymore.

This latest release systematically crashes the Dictionary app as soon as I try starting a research on Pingguo - PPC iMac (G5), 10.5.8.
