Passport Photo Studio allows you to create passport photos at home. This allows you to use a photo you like and get a result that you are happy with. Currently both US and UK passports are supported and there is an easy to use interface to accurately scale and position a photo you take with your digital camera. There is support for printing directly from the application or you can save an image to print later. Doing it yourself allows you to avoid driving, waiting in line and if you need more than one set of photos, it also saves you money.
What's New

Hi,
Not good at all. Works only for USA ans UK cititzens at 8,95 $.
Have a look at Portraimatic. Standards for 19 countries + options.
Really fantasic and so simple to use, price 11,99 $.
I tried both, Passport Photo Studio, may be good for USA, has to go in the bin for European cititzens. Ashamed !
For me, Portraimatic 5 stars, Passport Photo Studio not worth a penny. (I am European !).
Try and see the difference for about the same price.
Regards,
F Rol (France)

The U.S. State Department, also has very basic flash based photo utility at http://travel.state.gov/_res/flash/cropper/FIG_cropper.html#

However, you may still find this product to be worth the small extra charge over the government's free one.

Having passed 60 years I am now being asked to provide passport sized photo's for various "senior" privileges. Bus pass, free swimming pass, etc.

I hate having to go to find the automatic machines which usually cost around £4 or £5 for four photos and so tried to do it on my mac with iPhoto and then photo booth. I got fed up with trying to do the impossible. I Googled "passport photo's with a Mac" and the fourth option was Passport Photo Studio. It does both UK and USA size photo's.

An absolutely brilliant little programme. It works, is simple and does exactly what is says on the tin. You can either use an existing full length photo or use a head and shoulders shot because you can size and crop it on the fly!

An interesting and unique software product. I've always thought this developer should expand this to the senior portrait market since the yearbook requirements are very similar to making passport photos, and I know of countless portrait photographers using Apple computers who would love such a product.

Great product and I already paid for it by using it for passport size photos.
Would be better if they had an update feature and/or automatically update their product so we don't have o find out about updates from this website or others.
