huddy is a very simple AppleScript utility which, if added to the Finder window toolbar, gives quick and easy access to the colour labels, and also allows you to quickly switch to icon view, zoom the icons - great for quickly previewing photos, etc - and returns to list view when closed.

Cool on the new features, but I am not sure what the keyboard shortcuts are for labels or file ratings...

The Label colors are heard to make out on the HUD display, I can barely make out which is which.

But thanks for the new features, Huddy is coming along nicely!

Hi,

shortcuts for the colours are 'alt (option) and 1', 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. As for the file ratings, just use the numbers 0 to 5.

This seems pretty handy. Any way to add customizable keyboard shortcuts to the Label colors?

Oh, and a pref to go to your choice of Finder view upon quit would be cool too.

Hi,

I'm sure it's entirely possible to do the things you ask. However, lack of knowledge and available time mean I doubt I'll get round to it any day soon. I'll make the source code available on my website if anyone else wants to take it up.

Just adding suggestions, I don't expect the freeware developers out there to do any extra work for their apps, but some like the feedback.
