I have been using investoscope for nearly a year. I'm not sure I would classify myself as an amateur, but rather someone who is intrigued with tracking my money. With that being said, this application works as promised.

I used Stox for two years.

It doesn't handle price feeds properly and support is indifferent to the point of uselessness.

I noticed in the picture above that there are "winners" and "loosers." What's a "looser?" Is that the opposite of a "tighter?"

I agree, as much as I like numbers and pie charts, a good stock chart gives so much info in a short time. Try MacStockManager, easy to use, good stock analysis. With MacStockManager. I can download my data from my brokerage account.

I agree Belenski. I've also discovered MacStockManager, which gives me some really good analysis tools. I dig the trendlines a lot, and the developer is very nice as well.

Not sure why you would want Technical Analysis from a Portfolio Manager.

To me Investoscope is about monitoring your portfolio - not about making the decisions of what to put in it.

Very well conceived, with logical grouping of stocks, bonds, funds, etc. where they can be grouped into portfolios and watch lists.

Superb interface, with ease of entering or importing data, and tracking value over time -- with nice graphic representation and reports.

For an early release, Investoscope is a superb effort. Any investor would be smart to give this a try, I'm sure that the developer would appreciate feedback.

Mac needs solid 'Mac-like' tools for investors -- and this has awesome potential

This seems promising. It would be great if it could automatically scrape portfolios from the leading online brokerage houses.
