Contrary to the dev's statement, these icons don't "require" 10.5; in fact, there's barely any point in using them on Leopard because there's no hi-res 512px version - in fact there's only 256px versions, none of the more visible states are included.

It would be nice if these weren't only supplied on folders; the old ways of changing an icon through Get Info are now unreliable at best, and impossible at times. An .ICNS file containing 16, 32(, 48), 128(, 256), and 512px states would be far preferable and much more compatible.

Hi there, thanks for the suggestions in this review.

As stated, this is version 1.0 and as such I was looking for comments and sugestions on how to improve them so i'll take what you say on board.
originally it was just a concept anyway to see if people liked the idea.
I take your point about there not being the full size 512px but I'm using them on leopard perfectly fine without quality loss on the dock so that's a little unfair to say there is 'barely any point'

anyway next version I'll try to address these points.

(oh, just to say as a side note I originally submitted this direct to the apple download page - it was added here later - where you have to say what version of mac it's compatible with so i just put the latest)
