Important Studio Upgrade Note
When upgrading to a newer version of studio, you must clear your browser cache. Clear your browser cache to avoid issues from cached libraries from previous versions.
Warnings:
All users of the Select editor should check their restrictValues property after upgrade.
The Select editor property "restrictValues" determines whether entering a value that does NOT appear in the menu is invalid. If restrictValues is true, then only values from the list are valid. If its false, then the menu is just a list of suggested values, but the user can type in anything. This incorrectly defaulted to false. We've changed the default to true. Please check your projects and verify that the restrictValue settings are correct for your editors.
IE 6 and IE 7 are no longer supported except via Chrome Frame
A new application-level property has been added called "promptChromeFrame" which has three possible values:

I have to agree, this application doesn't have a Mac "feel". It doesn't flaunt any of the feeling, ease of use, etc. that we've come to expect from Mac.
Today we can video chat from our phones. We can design websites in the blink of an eye that are aesthetically pleasing and fully functional. We can create virtually anything. Photoshop designs are outstanding driven by power beyond power.
There really is no reason this can't improve. Everything can improve. I'd love to see this turn into something that works as easily as something like RapidWeaver, iWork, iLife, etc.

> that are aesthetically pleasing and fully functional.
If you can do websites that quick and they please clients with a great (original) gui and design, functional (as in are profitable, have SEO, etc.) I'll pay you to do sites for me. Surely, a blink of the eye will only cost like 10 bucks a site, right? Hahaha... gawd...

Wavemaker finally made me forget the amount of code it generated in my application and of course too much syntax error that I spent hours working out.
Excellent part of integration with different databases ... it makes me too much homework.
So far I saw that has a good track by positioning the mac users in the most downloaded tool development.
Of course not everything is as I'd like ... I hope they can improve that part of the studio in the sense of being more intuitive and fast as the other popular IDEs like Netbeans and Eclipse I think this was achieved in time.
When I'm looking for a solution simply write in the forum and the magic is done thanks to the community is very active.

Unfortunately, I am not the tutorial writer, that job was in fact done by a windows users. Because after all, we are not building this to run on only one platform.
Regardless of platform, you will find me, others at wavemaker and many in our community answering questions on the forum, so if you can't find your answer, post! And if you point us at the tutorial instructions that aren't working, we do have people whose job it is to update and correct tutorials, and I'd be delighted to send more work their way ;-)
